Features

Orbit Legacy is a free-to-play space MMO: one persistent galaxy, real-time combat and an economy run by pilots. This is what you are signing up for.

Real-time combat
COMBAT

Real-time combat

Fights happen in real time: lasers, missiles with real flight time, positioning and target priority. There is no auto-battle. You aim, you kite, you decide when to disengage.

Every enemy shows a threat color so you can read a fight before you take it. Some aliens are farm. Some are a wall. Learning the difference is the first skill of the game.

  • Manual targeting and ammo choice
  • Missiles travel, they can miss
  • Threat colors tell you who is prey
  • Safe zones at bases work both ways
One persistent galaxy
OPEN WORLD

One persistent galaxy

Every pilot plays in the same universe. Starter sectors, contested zones and deep space connect into one map where the further you fly, the more you earn and the more you risk.

Bases are real hubs: each one has its own storage, marketplace, repair yard and shop. Where you park your loot matters.

  • Sectors scale from safe to lethal
  • Per-base storage and markets
  • World bosses on a weekly schedule
  • Galaxy Gates: private boss instances you charge with antimatter
Gear worth dying for
PROGRESSION

Gear worth dying for

Ships carry lasers, shield generators, speed generators and extras. Your pilot wears gear across 12 slots. Everything can be upgraded.

Upgrading is a gamble you can play smart: failed attempts build stacks that raise your next chance, and protection stones keep a failure from knocking your gear down. High-end jewelry is the real edge: huge power, and it can shatter.

  • Ship equipment and 12 pilot gear slots
  • Failed upgrades raise your next odds
  • Protection stones for safe pushes
  • Durability, repairs and a blacksmith at every base
LIFESKILLS

More than shooting

Mining, salvaging, fabrication and synthesis are full progression tracks, from Beginner to Guru. Mastery makes you faster and luckier at each craft.

Crafting recipes are not handed to you. You discover them by experimenting in the lab, and a recipe you found is yours to profit from.

  • Four lifeskills with mastery ranks
  • AFK salvage fishing with beacons
  • Recipe discovery, not recipe lists
  • Factory crafting at your base
ECONOMY

A player-driven market

Credits come from playing. The marketplace is per base and player to player: what sells in one hub can be scarce two sectors away.

Cargo is a weight cap, not a slot count. Hauling more ore means flying heavier and slower through space where other pilots can see you.

  • Player-to-player marketplace with fees
  • Cargo weight changes how you fly
  • Ore drops on death in deep space
  • Free to play, no pay-to-win
FACTIONS & PVP

Three flags, one war

Earth, Mars and Venus share the galaxy and not much else. Your faction decides your home sector, your allies and who is fair game.

Deep space is honest: kill, get killed, and loot what the loser dropped. Pilots who hunt their own kind fall out of the ranks and into the pirate ladder, with its own ranks and its own rules.

  • Faction ranks up to General, earned by percentile
  • Open PvP in deep sectors
  • Death drops loot others can take
  • The pirate path is a career, not a punishment
